teens on cell phones 2A conservative activist is warning parents about a new app that makes it easier for transgender-confused children to obtain hormone blockers -- and at a cheap price.

Abigail Shrier outlines the danger of puberty blockers in her book, "Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters" – and warns unsuspecting parents that a generation of young girls is being subjected to a network of "trans influencers" on social media and "gender-affirming" educators and therapists who push life-changing interventions on young girls.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) points out that it is illegal to expose children to pornography, so "it should be criminal" to expose them to material that helps them attempt the impossible change to the opposite gender.

"This is just outrageous," he asserts. "These organizations, these gay and transgender activist organizations, cannot be trusted to look out for what's best for children."

The online service Plume allows children to go behind their parents' backs for $99 a month to get hormone blockers.

LaBarbera, Peter"They don't want the parents to know, which is another scandal about this," LaBarbera details. "They're doing everything they can to hide things from parents. Even the Biden administration could go this route of helping these kids get these awful transgender procedures and hormone therapies, that are actually dangerous, without the parents even knowing."

LaBarbera lays most of the blame with the left-wing agenda.

"They think the kids are theirs, and they want the kids to basically treat their body like it's some kind of experiment -- that a boy who isn't even close to [having] his life figured out decides he's a girl and then decides he's going to start taking female hormones," the conservative laments. "This is the left in this country."

He adds it is "the left that is putting our children's lives, their souls, and their minds at risk."
