Another conservative organization is hopeful congressional hearings on social media censorship will bear fruit.
Through its ministry efforts, Abortion Free New Mexico has exposed not only the late-term abortion businesses in the state but also the illegal sale of aborted babies' body parts. Spokesman Bud Shaver tells OneNewsNow that on the same day tech giants were testifying on Capitol Hill about alleged censorship, the pro-life group discovered that all its information had disappeared from YouTube.
"We had over 40 undercover investigations through our ten years in ministry here … exposing the late-term abortion cartel here in New Mexico, and we also conducted a 35-video undercover series exposing late-term abortion across America with Priests for Life," he describes.
According to Shaver, all that content disappeared instantly, with no notice whatsoever – and so far, with no response whatsoever from YouTube about the disappearance.
"… There were no strikes against our account," he explains. "We never like uploaded a video that they said … violates this, that or the other; [or told us] you've got to remove it. No, nothing like that – just silence," he adds.
Whether it's President Donald Trump, conservatives, or pro-life organizations, Shaver says people ought to be able to express themselves without social media reigning supreme in rejecting a message that is contrary to their view of things.
