YouTube iconYouTube has censored a video that includes the views from a former transgender who is gaining an audience for telling his story.

YouTube censored Walt Heyer, who lived as a woman for eight years, and called it “hate speech” because he was discussing children.

The popular social media site was denounced by the Christian Medical and Dental Association, which pointed out that Heyer was part of a panel discussion that was discussing science, medicine, and health.

Dr. Jeff Barrows of CMDA tells OneNewsNow that six words got Heyer in trouble.

“And those six words were, This is a childhood developmental disorder,” Barrow advises. “He was speaking of gender dysphoria and he was speaking out of his own experience."

Heyer

Heyer, who lived as “Laura” for eight years, has predictably angered trangender activists for encouraging others to seek professional help and not go under the knife for life-altering surgery.

USA Today published a lengthy, heart-breaking account from Heyer last year in which he tells a story of being put in a dress by his grandmother, which led him on a journey of confusion and turmoil that only worsened after he was sexually abused by a relative.

Dr. Barrow says Heyer is an expert on the transgender issue after having lived it and experienced it, and it is Youtube that is opposing science.

“They're somehow ignoring it,” he says, “and they're going by their ideology."
