Israel study: Men still men, women still women

DNA strandThe results of a new scientific study published by Israeli geneticists reveal that merely “identifying” oneself as the opposite sex from one’s birth – or receiving hormone therapy – cannot transform that person into another gender.

In other words, no matter how much one looks, behaves or injects hormones to replicate the opposite sex, he or she will always be the same sex he or she was at birth -- because of the male and female genes that were present at birth.

“Geneticists from Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science discovered certain genes that are only expressed in women, while others are only expressed in men,” CBN News reported. “Professor Shmuel Pietrokovski and Dr. Moran Gershoni studied 20,000 genes, sorting them by sex, and searching for differences in expression in each tissue.”

Bad news for transgenders

What the researchers came up was not what so-called “transgenders” and other homosexual advocates wanted to hear.

“[We found approximately] 6,500 genes with activity that was biased toward one sex or the other in at least one tissue, adding to the already major biological differences between men and women," the geneticists divulged.

No matter how hard transgenders try, they can never reverse the functions that their male or female bodies at birth were inherently designed to do.

“Some of the biggest differences were in genes responsible for body hair, fat storage, muscle building and milk production for breastfeeding,” CBN News explained from the study. “The researchers also found that biological sex also plays a role in preventing specific illnesses.  For example, some genes expressed only in the left ventricle of the heart in women work to protect their hearts from disease until the women reach menopause.  Another gene, in the liver, processes drugs differently according to the gender.”

As transgenders such as Bruce (Caitlyn) Jenner continue to receive air time to convince the world that they are transforming into another sex, scientists have found that all of the man-induced medical procedures cannot turn a man into a woman, or vice-versa.

“Essentially, their research means more than 21 percent of the entire human genome, which is composed of about 30,000 genes, are based on sex – something a sex change operation and hormones cannot replace,” the Christian news agency informed.

Can’t override God’s work

Many parts of the human anatomy from both sexes simply cannot be reprogrammed to function as the opposite sex.

“The most sex-differentiated tissue – with 6,123 SDE protein-coding gene – is the breast mammary glands,” the researchers at BMC Biology found. “This suggests major differences in the physiology and sex genetic architecture of this tissue. We found 1,145 genes to be SDE in non-mammary gland tissues. The most differentiated of these, with over 100 SDE genes, are the skeletal muscle, two skin tissues, subcutaneous adipose, anterior cingulate cortex and heart left ventricle.”

After comprehensively mapping the human sex-differential genetic architecture across 53 tissues, so many genetic differences were found between men and women, it would be impossible to effectively turn one sex into another – no matter how good the doctor or how wealthy the patient. It was found that men and women were created with specific genes to fight diseases in their particular sex.

“Analyzing available RNA- sequencing data from 544 adults revealed thousands of genes differentially expressed in the reproductive tracts and tissues common to both sexes,” the researchers explained in their abstract. “Sex-differential genes are related to various biological systems, and suggest new insights into the pathophysiology of diverse human diseases.”

It was also discovered that God made men and women different on purpose not only to fight disease, but to benefit their general health, as well.

“We also identified a significant association between sex-specific gene transcription and reduced selection efficiency and accumulation of deleterious mutations, which might affect the prevalence of different traits and diseases,” the researchers continued. “Interestingly, many of the sex-specific genes that also undergo reduced selection efficiency are essential for successful reproduction in men and women.”

Key organs in men and women, such as their brains and livers, are pre-programmed to function in specific ways.

“Additionally, they found another gene that was mainly expressed in women, was active in the brain, and may protect the neurons from Parkinson’s, a disease that is more prevalent in men,” Liberty Counsel announced from the study in a press release. “The researchers also identified gene expression in the liver that provides molecular evidence for the known difference in drug processing between women and men.”

God cannot be outdone

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver asserted that man cannot outsmart God – or recreate what He created into something other than what He intended.

“This recent study from Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science further proves that you cannot fool Mother Nature,” Staver insisted. “The saying, 'I think, therefore, I am’ is best left to philosophy and not science. Gender confusion is mental – not physical or biological.”

He argues that God does not make mistakes and man cannot successfully manipulate His design to come up with something else – a different and adulterated result.

“God made male and female, and no amount of protestation will change the natural created order,” Staver continued. “The fiction that a person can chose their gender does not help those who are confused.”

The Christian legal expert maintained that blurring the lines or masking reality is futile – and no matter how hard men and women try, they will always be men and women – just as God created them from conception.

“These Israeli scientists identified over 6,500 genes with activity that was biased toward one sex or the other in at least one tissue,” Staver concluded. “That clearly validates the genetic differences between men and women.”
