pro-abortion billboards (montage)The founder of "a continual bulwark for families and the values that make families strong" says Christians need to respond to an organization in Kentucky that is using lies to promote abortion.

The Kentucky Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a group of pro-abortion preachers, is funding a billboard campaign in Louisville, Nicholasville, and Paducah that falsely suggests God is okay with ending another person's life. Kent Ostrander of The Kentucky Family Foundation is concerned about those who call on the name of Jesus but do not stand on His Word, often times confusing other people.

"Clearly abortion is the taking of an innocent ongoing human life, and they somehow with this billboard are suggesting that God's okay with that," Ostrander comments. "That's antithetical to what our Lord stands for."

He says God, the creator and originator of life, is the only one who can make that choice.

Ostrander, Kent (Family Foundation of KY)"He did not and has never encouraged us to kill children that we don't want," the pro-lifer points out. "Just because you don't want someone to live doesn't mean you have the right to take their life, and that's what the abortion argument is predicated on -- that the woman, the mother, has the right to take the life of another human being that she doesn't want to live."

Ostrander adds that America is beset with half-truths and complete falsehoods, and he says it is beyond time for the body of Christ be God's messenger in all aspects of truth, to rise up and respond individually and collectively.
