A well-known atheist and billionaire is suspected of attempting to interfere with a pro-life organization's life-saving efforts.
Heartbeat International spokeswoman Andrea Trudden says Abortion Pill Rescue® Network (APRN) staff members were professional when they received an irregular increase in international calls this month requesting information on the method used to reverse the first abortion pill a woman takes in a chemical abortion regimen.
"Our nurses were listening, and they walked them through every step of the way what they needed to do in order to obtain a reversal," Trudden details. "Each of them, just before the final step of actually connecting them with a provider, they said, 'No -- You know what? I changed my mind. Thank you. Have a good day.'"
At the same time, an organization called Open Democracy announced it was conducting an undercover investigation into the pill reversal process. Trudden says Heartbeat International has since done their homework on the organization.
"It turns out that George Soros, as well as many other abortion lobbyist and pro-abortion organizations, fund Open Democracy, which describes themselves as feminist investigative journalism in front-line fight, and they're searching for ways to fight those people who are against what they call women's rights," the pro-lifer relays.
The fake international callers certainly tied up the APRN hotline nurses for a few minutes, but on the positive side, it was an opportunity for them to share the truth -- that an abortion can be reversed after taking the first pill, if the woman acts quickly. More than 2,000 babies have been saved by the process.
