I Vote Pro-Life (woman holding sign)Mike Pence, the first sitting vice president to speak at a March for Life, has established another first for the Trump administration.

The Susan B. Anthony List has launched a multi-state "Life Wins" campaign, and Pence's recent stop at A Woman's Place Medical Clinic in Largo, Florida as part of the tour marked the first time a sitting vice president has ever visited a pro-life pregnancy center.

Pence gave a rousing speech to the pro-life community for the work they have done since the Supreme Court legalized abortion nationwide in 1973.

"Because you've stood up, because you've stood with those men and women who've stood for life in the public square, life is winning in America," the vice president declared.

Roland Warren, who heads the pro-life Care Net, welcomes Pence's comments, as he agrees pro-life pregnancy centers have been a part of life-saving work.

Warren

"Pregnancy centers are on the frontlines of doing that amazing work and showing the care and the love of Christ," Warren asserts. "Typically these pregnancy centers are for people who are at the point of need, so it's just fantastic that he highlighted and promoted the amazing work that's happening across the country at these centers."

Most pro-life facilities operate with volunteer staff and without a cent from the federal government. They aim to save the lives of preborn babies and to protect women from the scars of an abortion that will sometimes last a lifetime.
