Planned Parenthood continues to be the source of incidents that prove abortion is not as safe as the provider would like people to think.
Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue tells OneNewsNow another patient was transported from Near North Planned Parenthood in Chicago to a hospital.
"There was a medical emergency where a 28-year-old woman had had an abortion on a previous day and returned to Planned Parenthood because she was suffering really serious complications from her abortion," Sullenger details.
She was suffering from serious pain and was hemorrhaging, which could be the result of something as serious as a perforated uterus or damage to internal organs. Operation Rescue says this is the 21st recorded medical emergency at the high-volume clinic -- five of which have happened in the past 15 months. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood maintains that abortion is safe.
"We have documented hundreds and hundreds of these incidents at abortion clinics over the last few years, and we can attest I think pretty strongly that abortion is not a safe procedure," Sullenger asserts. "Women literally are rolling the dice with their lives when they walk into an abortion clinic."
At any rate, Operation Rescue considers the Chicago clinic to be one of the more dangerous ones in the country because of the number of patients who have been hospitalized after visiting there.
