Centennial State sticking to faulty logic

21-week babyLiberal lawmakers in Colorado are making sure abortion remains unlimited.

Members of the state legislature have rejected a HB 1068, which would have required helping a child born alive during an abortion to live, and HB 1098, which would have limited abortion to 22 weeks.

Jeff Hunt of the Centennial Institute tells OneNewsNow it seems strange because a premature baby born at 22 weeks would be helped by medical staff.

"The logic does not hold for the left on these issues," he submits. "They even say, often times, that life doesn't begin until there's breath in the lungs. Well, here's breath in the lungs. These are children that are alive. They need our help."

But because they are not considered "wanted," the babies are left to die.

Hunt

"I listened to seven hours of testimony, and when pro-choice people get up to talk, you might as well think that the baby doesn't exist, that there is no separate human being that exists in this equation, and therefore we get to do whatever we want to them. They treat them like property," Hunt laments. "They completely deny their humanity."

But as he points out, God does not do that.

Colorado remains a state that allows abortion until birth. The others are Alaska, Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Vermont.
