Planned Parenthood building 3An expert on Planned Parenthood says the organization's latest figures on its services are very misleading.

The company claims that abortion now accounts for only four percent of its services. But Jim Sedlak of American Life League says that is not so.

"Last year it reported that it had 9.8 million services, and out of those 9.8 million services, 345,672 were abortions," the pro-lifer relays. "So when you do the math, you come up with four percent of their services."

Sedlak, Jim (American Life League)He calls it a numbers game and quotes the old saying that "figures don't lie, but liars figure." In this case, he says Planned Parenthood has found a way to portray its abortion business as only miniscule, which is inaccurate.

"Planned Parenthood with the latest number, which is the highest number they've ever had -- that is 345,672 abortions in … the year 2018 – [did] almost 40 percent of all the abortions performed in the country," Sedlak asserts.

The number of child terminations has steadily risen while Planned Parenthood's total number of services has gone down. Ten years ago, they offered 11 million services, and now that number is down to 9.8 million.
