Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue tells OneNewsNow a 15-year-old girl's mother took her to Cedar River Women's Clinic in Tacoma, Washington, for a second-trimester abortion. That type of procedure removes the preborn baby from his mother's womb in pieces.

"The ambulance had to be called because she suffered a uterine perforation, which is a hole torn in the uterus during the abortion, and she had to be transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital," Sullenger reports.

That type of injury is fairly common in the abortion industry, and it can be a serious one. But Sullenger has another concern in this case.

"The age consent is 16," the pro-lifer notes. "She was only 15. So we're concerned about whether or not a report of suspected child sex abuse was filed."

Sullenger, CherylUnderage abortions are to be reported to authorities for investigation, but there is no record of that happening in this case.

Operation Rescue also questions about the owners of the clinic.

"This particular chain of three abortion clinics is operated by the Feminist Women's Health Center, and the Feminist Women's Health Center is a radical left-wing organization," the Sullenger explains.

The organization is so radical in fact that they had a tough time finding building owners to lease space to them to open an abortion clinic. So they changed their name in 2004 to Cedar River Clinics, and that got them in the door to turn space over to abortuaries.
