pregnant woman handA Tennessee woman discovered Planned Parenthood wasn't telling her the truth – and thanks to a pro-life physician, she's now on track to be a mom.

The woman went to the Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Knoxville for a chemical abortion and submitted to a sonogram. Katie Franklin, managing editor of Pregnancy Help News of Heartbeat International, tells OneNewsNow that the unidentified woman raised a question.

"Only after she'd begun the chemical abortion and thought that the abortion had been taken care of, she went back to the Planned Parenthood and discovered that she was still pregnant," says Franklin. "And when Planned Parenthood couldn't do anything for her, [told her] they couldn't help her, she decided to leave."

The woman searched online to see if she could save the pregnancy and found the website of Abortion Pill Rescue, which referred her to a local physician, Dr. Brent Boles, for help.

Franklin says the woman, while at Planned Parenthood, had asked for results of the sonogram.

"She asked if there was a heartbeat and she was told at an age between 7 and 8 weeks that 'there is cardiac activity, but it is too early to call it a heartbeat' – and Dr. Boles, in a Facebook post, explained that that is essentially hogwash," says Franklin. If there is brain activity, according to medical literature, it is a heartbeat.

In addition, Planned Parenthood didn't tell the woman she was pregnant with twins.

Dr. Boles discovered the abortion pill didn't work and his patient is now continuing the pregnancy with plans to give birth to her babies.

Abortion Pill Rescue is a program of Heartbeat International that includes more than 400 professional healthcare providers in the U.S.
