baby feetPro-lifers across the United States are being asked to send a message to pro-abortion Democrats: babies deserve a chance to live.

Family Research Council is asking people to visit the website EndBirthdayAbortion.com and for every $9 donation, the organization will purchase and send baby hats to the congressional office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The message is a way to remind her that a baby born alive through natural birth, or an abortion, deserves the same treatment to sustain their lives.

FRC spokeswoman Patrina Mosley says the D.C.-based group was looking for a way to lobby for a House measure, the Abortion Survivors Protect Act, and the issue was raised about how to raise awareness of caring for a newborn baby that has survived an abortion attempt.

“That is that these babies should be received not with cold hands and steel instruments to kill them,” says Mosley, “but should be met with a warm hat as any newborn infant is met with on the day of their birth.”

Pelosi is refusing to bring the Abortion Survivors Protection Act up for a vote.
