Louisiana Right to Life has written to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners about abortionist Kevin Govan Work, who is currently performing abortions in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Benjamin Clapper, who heads the pro-life organization, tells OneNewsNow that Work is on probation for past work and is barred from performing abortions.

"His probation order states that he should only be doing wound care and not operating in a solo practitioner department, and it seems that he is in violation of that," Clapper complains. "He also failed to pass an OB/GYN reinstatement examination though he is performing abortions, which is in the department of OB/GYN-related items."

Among the allegations Work was found guilty of, says the pro-life group, is issuing prescriptions for controlled substances and failing to document them.

Louisiana Right to Life is asking state medical officials to take swift action to make sure the abortionist is not endangering the safety of Louisiana women.

"This is another example of how those who are abortionists are often the bottom dwellers of the medical industry," says Clapper, "and his long history of infractions and disciplinary actions is another reason we have to be careful about allowing these physicians to operate on women in dangerous situations."
