Operation Rescue continues to call for action against a late-term abortion clinic in California.
Pro-Choice Medical Center in Beverly Hills (pictured) is a late-term abortion facility operated by Josefa Seletz, who is often referred to as the "Abortionist to the Stars." OneNewsNow reported in December of heavily redacted recordings of 911 calls sending patients from the facility to the hospital – and that Operation Rescue planned to file a complaint with the California Medical Board seeking an investigation and disciplinary action.
Now Operation Rescue has obtained 911 records of another emergency call in which an abortion victim was rushed to a hospital emergency room. Spokeswoman Cheryl Sullenger tells OneNewsNow the woman was suffering from sepsis, which isn't uncommon.
"In other words, she had gotten some kind of blood infection and ... was likely in septic shock, which is a life-threatening condition where your organs can shut down. You can actually die from that," notes Sullenger.
The clinic, she explains, doesn't have the equipment or the staff to meet the needs of patients experiencing major medical issues from abortions.
"This is another case – this is like the fifth time – [in which] an ambulance that we have documented went to this same abortion clinic in just a one-year time period," the pro-lifer laments. "That's five life-threatening conditions that these women were facing."
And five ambulance calls due to medical emergencies is too much, according to Sullenger, so she's asking that the state to take action and shut the facility down. It should be noted too that there is increasing danger associated with abortions in the second and third trimester of the pregnancy.
