Trump declares emergency to build border wall
WASHINGTON (February 15, 2019) — President Donald Trump announced Friday that he will declare a national emergency to fulfill his pledge to construct a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Ohio is dealing with a longtime abortionist who has had a shaky reputation for years.
After the U.S. Supreme Court legalized termination of preborn children in 1973, Harley Blank was the first person in Ohio to do an abortion and set up the first clinic to perform that service exclusively. Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue tells OneNewsNow that Blank now has surrendered his medical license in lieu of administrative actions.
"The Ohio Medical Board was about to revoke his medical license for handing out prescriptions to men who were not his patients," she reports. "He kept no medical records on them, so he was just dishing out these prescriptions for drugs."
Over the 50-plus years that the 79-year-old Blank was in the abortion business, he faced multiple malpractice lawsuits. In addition, Operation Rescue filed a complaint against him in 2015 over misdiagnosing an ectopic pregnancy.
"The woman eventually had a rupture of a fallopian tube and can never have children again because of the surgery that was required to save her life," Sullenger says. "This is especially egregious because Blank repeatedly reassured her that her pregnancy was in her uterus, and he actually went through the motions of an abortion on her [then] took her money for the abortion."
While Blank has surrendered his medical license, he is also forbidden to apply for reinstatement in the future.
