After reaching a million drivers with a pro-life message, a coalition of groups now has plans for a big event this September.
Pro-Life Action League is gearing up for the "National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children." Organizer Eric Scheidler and others plan to be at cemeteries and other burial places to pay respects to aborted babies nationwide.
"There's about 50 of these burial places," he tells OneNewsNow. "We're going to be visiting those locations as well as scores of other places around the country where memorials have been set up to the 60-million children who have been killed by abortion."
Two other groups – Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, and Priests for Life – are teaming with Pro-Life Action League for the observation.
"AbortionMemorials.com is where you can find locations and maybe sign on to be a leader yourself," directs Scheidler. "In between then and now, we will continue recruiting local teams to help us with our activities and being out on the frontlines ourselves and helping others to do so."
Prayer vigils are also planned for the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.
On Friday, June 22, the Pro-Life Action League hosted the first ever National Pro-Life Bridges Day in 50 cities from coast to coast. Participants stood on bridges and overpasses with a banner displaying the message: "Abortion takes a human life."
