baby feetThe American Civil Liberties Union is shaming itself by fighting an Ohio law that protects the most innocent among us, says a pro-life activist.

Late last year, Gov. John Kasich signed into law the Down Syndrome Non-Discrimination Act which bans abortions based on a diagnosis of Down syndrome.

Now the ACLU has filed suit to overturn the law.

Jamieson Weaver of Ohio Right to Life says the ACLU claims to preserve civil liberties but is persecuting the unborn diagnosed with Down syndrome, which he calls "a shame" to witness as a pro-life activist.

"They really are ignoring a large swath of Americans who don't agree with their political agenda," Weaver observes.
