baby feetAn annual pro-life event, Life Chain, is coming to churches this Sunday.

The 30th annual Life Chain is calling on the Church to occupy sidewalks holding signs calling on the nations to repent of abortion.

Americans often depend on the government to resolve problems but National Life Chain director Royce Dunn says it's really a matter of changing hearts over the issue.

"Any holocaust is created and sustained by powerful spiritual forces," he says. "Those very forces that we read in God's Word, Ephesians 6, the powers and principalities, and they target their opposition and they certainly target government."

Pastors and their congregations can take a stand against abortion, says Dunn, and that can happen during Life Chain events on Sunday.

"It affords every church community in our nation an opportunity to unite against the massive killing in a way that's very convenient and also very prayerful," he tells OneNewsNow.

A list of Life Chain cities is at LifeChain.net.
