Hillary Clinton campaign trail (June '16)With her aggressive record on so-called women’s “reproductive rights,” presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is considered to be the most radical pro-abortion presidential candidate of all time.

Even though the mainstream media has rarely focused on Clinton’s extreme abortion agenda and the Democratic Party’s shift to the far Left when it comes to demeaning the sanctity of human life of preborn children, she is now being marked as the greatest champion of abortion ever in the race for the White House. This title even surpasses a label given to President Barack Obama when he ran for a second term in office — a man who was dubbed by Family Talk Founder Dr. James Dobson as “the abortion president.”

In fact, abortion extremism has taken over the Democrats’ platform this election year to the extent that it is reportedly hurting Clinton’s chances against presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, with some saying it is even too radical for most Leftists who are in the habit of checking the blue box for the White House every four years, come November.

“[Clinton and the Democrats’] position is radical and extremely out of touch with most Americans, but general public knowledge of it could damage Clinton’s already scandalized campaign even more,” Life News reports. “Among the most extreme measures, Clinton and the Democratic Party are pushing to force taxpayers to fund abortions and calling specifically for support of the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, which is under investigation for selling aborted babies’ body parts.”

A new kind of war on the womb

Recognizing their shift toward “abortion extremism,” an editorial published by a major media outlet in the nation’s capital, called out Clinton and the “pro-abortion party” for declaring an outright war on America’s preborn children.

“Back when Clinton’s husband was president, Democrats’ said abortion should be ‘safe, legal and rare,’” the Washington Examiner editorial reads. “This was intended to signal to voters that Democrats knew abortion was undesirable but that they were the party of compassion and wanted to make it generally be available to women.”

Pro-life advocates contend that the blue party no longer looks to abortion as a last resort, but as a procedure that Americans should be eager to fight for — at all costs and under all circumstances.

“Today, Democrats encourage women to be proud of their abortions,” LifeNews’ Micaiah Bilger informed. “The party abandoned the word ‘rare’ in the 2008 platform, as abortion activists began claiming that the word stigmatized something that was both a benefit to society and a constitutional right.”

Accordingly, this shift is said to make the term “pro-choice” obsolete when it comes to pinpointing the Democratic Party stance on abortion.

“The party is no longer pro-choice, as it claims,” Bilger continued. “Let’s call it what it is — it is pro-abortion.”

Taking it to the extreme

It is also argued that Democrats and their candidate of choice for the White House have taken over the role as being the political promoters of the abortion industry by trying to go above and beyond abortionists’ 1973 landmark United States Supreme Court victory in Roe v. Wade.

“Marching in step with the abortion industry, Clinton and the Democratic Party are now promising to try to overturn the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits direct taxpayer funding of most abortions,” Bilger announced. “Upheld by the Supreme Court, the Hyde Amendment is now a target of abortion advocates who have moved from pro-choice to pro-abortion — forcing Americans not only to accept unlimited abortions before birth but also to pay for them.”

Adding to her assault on the womb, the aspiring first female president of the United States has reportedly assured the world’s largest abortion provider that she is doing all she can make every American — whether they agree with abortion or not — to pay for the killing of millions of preborn children on an ongoing basis.

“Clinton promised Planned Parenthood that she will make every effort to overturn Hyde and force taxpayers to fund abortions, if elected president,” Life News reports. “The abortion giant stands to benefit hugely if Clinton or the Democratic Party are successful.”

Besides attempting to do away with the Hyde Amendment and make all Americans foot the bill for abortions, this year’s proposed Democratic Party platform is also seeking to glorify Planned Parenthood as a protectorate of women’s so-called reproductive rights and make abortion an option at any stage of a woman’s pregnancy.

“The Democratic Party platform already supports legalized abortion on demand for any reason up until birth,” Bilger asserts. “In the latest draft of the platform, the Democratic Party also mentions the abortion giant Planned Parenthood specifically, saying it wants to ‘champion’ the nation’s largest abortion chain and commit ‘to push back on all Republican efforts to defund it.’”

Too blue for their own good?

Even though for decades, abortion has been a major component of the Democratic Party’s platform, polls consistently indicate that its shift frompro-choice to pro-abortion is extremely unpopular with the American public.

In fact, a Marist poll recently divulged that more than two-thirds of Americans — including self-proclaimed pro-choicers and a majority of all women — are against funding abortion with taxpayer dollars.

Some Democrats in office are also uneasy about their party evolving to unconditionally embrace abortion.

Refusing to go along with the progressive shift, self-proclaimed pro-life advocate Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) called out his Democratic Party for assuming its loyalists will blindly follow its lead to make life even more unsafe for preborn children in America.

“That’s crazy,” Manchin told The Weekly Standard in an interview. “It’s something that I know most Democrats in West Virginia and most West Virginians would not agree with. I don’t either.”
