Planned Parenthood building 2Planned Parenthood's affiliate in Texas has been targeted again, this time for an HIV/AIDS program.

The state notified Planned Parenthood in early December that it will not be receiving $600,000 in funds for HIV/AIDS prevention program.

The Texas Tribune reported the Department of Health Services notified PP that a contract would not be renewed for 2016.

Texas officials already announced earlier this year that they were dropping the abortion giant from Medicaid funding that flows to the Lone Star state.

A spokesperson for PP claimed the "true victims" are people who "no longer have access to healthcare they need," reported the Tribune.

The same story failed to note that PP paid $4.3 million in 2013 in a court settlement over allegations of Medicaid fraud.

The Tribune story also claims that Texas officials have made "unspecified allegations" of Medicaid fraud, failing to cite an October story by The Dallas Morning News that reported on allegations of fraud made by Planned Parenthood whisteblowers.

Those fraud allegations included HIV tests that were never done, a PP whistleblower claimed.

Saenz, Jonathan (Texas Values)In a second lawsuit, another whisteblower told a court the organization went to a public school to test poor students who are eligible for Medicaid. That's because PP could receive approximately $200 per student - of taxpayers' money - for the testing.

The Medicaid reimbursements allegedly numbered in the thousands.

"When non-profit organizations take hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money," says Jonathan Saenz of Texas Values,  "they shouldn't be surprised when the government wants to make sure that they're following the law."

Planned Parenthood is not the only option in Texas for testing for STDs, including HIV/AIDS, Saenz tells OneNewsNow.

There are other sources, also funded by taxpayers' dollars, he says, "that are not under ongoing criminal investigation and are not shipping body parts out the back door."

That's a reference to Houston Planned Parenthood being caught in a sting operation by the Center for Medical Progress harvesting aborted baby body parts.
