For those who support protecting unborn children in the womb, the question for some is just how pro-abortion is the Biden-Harris ticket.
“Joe Biden has just completely sold out unborn children and pro-life Democrats in any and every way,” warns Carol Tobias of the National Right to Life Committee.
Biden’s running mate doesn’t escape scrutiny either, Tobias adds, because the California senator did not hide her views during the primary.
“Kamala Harris even went so far as to say that if she were elected, she would have the Department of Justice make sure that no state passed a law to protect unborn children, if it conflicted with Roe v Wade or legislation that she has sponsored, which removes all restriction on abortion.”
That would require states to seek federal approval for abortion-related legislation.
Tobias says Biden, now that he is the Democrat nominee, is bowing to his party’s radical pro-abortion platform, which she calls a sad change for the longtime politician who claims to be a devoted Catholic.
“For many years,” she says, “[Biden] actually opposed tax funding of abortion, and he has just done a 180-degree flip on that and now supports tax funding of abortion.”
