Mother's question offered voters glimpse at Biden admin

LGBT rainbow flagJoe Biden's support for an 8-year-old boy who is living as a girl, and his promise to end Trump administration policies, offered the public only a glimpse of a possible Biden administration, says a conservative activist.

During last week’s ABC News town hall, Biden was pressed by the mother of a transgender girl --- a biological boy --- to describe how a Biden administration would treat transgenders. The mother accused the Trump administration of a “dangerous and discriminatory” agenda that has harmed transgenders.

“I will flat-out just change the law,” Biden responded to the mother. “Eliminate those executive orders.”

Peter Sprigg of Family Research Council Action says Biden’s support for the transgender child, and for the pro-homosexual movement, was quick.

“[Biden] expressed his full and unequivocal support for the transgender movement,” Sprigg says, “and for transgender identities, even for an 8-year-old girl, or boy who identifies as a girl.”

Media was warned about ‘disorder’

“Transgender” was a little-noticed word in the homosexual rights movement only a few years ago, likely owing to the recognized diagnosis of a psychological disorder, but transgender activists found allies in the homosexual-friendly Obama administration that threatened to pull federal funds from public schools if they refused to allow transgenders to use the restrooms and locker room showers they wanted.

"Chelsea" Manning bannerThat arm-twisting demand from the U.S. Dept. of Education has been reversed by the Trump administration, which has come to the defense of female teen athletes who are fighting to keep biological boys off their track teams.

President Trump also reversed the allowance of transgenders openly serving in the U.S. armed forces.  Obama opened up the military to open transgenders in 2016, in the last remaining weeks of his second term.

During the Obama administration, even bigger progress came in 2012 when the American Psychiatric Association bowed to pressure and dropped Gender Identity Disorder (GID) from its Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. That diagnosis was dropped in favor of the term “Gender Dysphoria” even though the transgender community reportedly suffers from a suicide rate that hovers as high as 40 percent.

"Laurel" HubbardA GLAAD press release celebrating the APA decision, which can be read here, acknowledges that Gender Identity Disorder has “historically” been used to diagnose transgenders. Despite that fact, the press release openly urges the media to drop that term anyway or be accused of aiding critics.

The press release went on to state:

As has always been the case, it is still unacceptable for media outlets to lend credibility to anti-transgender activists who continue to draw false connections between being transgender and certain behaviors. Additionally, it is crucial that journalists realize the limitations of reporting that focuses on issues of importance to the transgender community, such as this change to terminology in the DSM-V, without seeking input from transgender people themselves.

Transgender dudettes in militaryAccording to Sprigg, FRC released a study the same day as Biden’s town hall meeting that shows a majority of children experiencing what is now called “gender dysphoria” work through the process and do not grow up living as the opposite sex.

During his answer to the mother, Biden went on to claim that as a young boy he watched two men hug and kiss. His father saw them, too, and told the young Biden they were in love. That story was met with a ton of skepticism at National Review Online, which pointed out that Biden was claiming that his Catholic father approved of two men kissing in public, in Scranton, in the 1950s.

NRO also pointed out that Biden voted for the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996, and he defended that vote as recently as 2006.
