BLM logo Black Lives MatterA conservative activist is blasting the vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris for praising the "brilliance" of the Black Lives Matter founders.

During a recent virtual interview that was part of the NAACP's national convention, the California senator and Democrat VP candidate praised Black Lives Matter founders Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi.

"The brilliance and the impact of Black Lives Matter and their brilliance in conceiving it -- history is going to show it was an inflection point in the ongoing fight for justice and to reform the criminal justice system," Harris said.

Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND), is not surprised by Harris's comments.

Peterson

"She's an empty shell. She's an evil woman," he responds. "She's worse than Barack Obama. This woman is about gaining power. She's running for president; she's not running for vice president, and she's on the side of evil. Kamala Harris knows that Black Lives Matter is a radical, far-left organization that was founded by radical blacks who hate God, who hate the nuclear family, unborn children, who hate America, and they want to turn American into a socialist society."

Conservative Clergy of Color, a coalition of African-American pastors who say they were called to bring a new perspective to the nation's conversation on race, have also slammed the Democratic vice presidential nominee for her comments.

Peterson concludes that Harris's statement clearly tells the American voters that if they vote for her, what BLM stands for is what the country will get.
