Dems' faux pas just a 'preview of coming attractions'

Biden-Harris presserJoe Biden and Kamala Harris each had interesting "slips of the tongue" this week, almost begging the question: Who's really at the top of the Democratic ticket for 2020?

First, it was the vice-presidential candidate on Monday:

Kamala Harris: "A Harris administration together with Joe Biden as the President of the United States – the Biden/Harris administration …."

Then on Tuesday, it was Biden himself:

Joe Biden: "The Harris/Biden administration is going to relaunch that effort and keep pushing further …."

Dr. Robert Jeffress is one of President Donald Trump's spiritual advisors. He says the verbal blunders by the two who make up the Democratic presidential ticket are actually an admission of the worst kept secret in Washington politics.

"It's a preview of coming attractions," he tells OneNewsNow. "They're letting slip what should be obvious to everybody as to what's going to happen if Joe Biden occupies the Oval Office."

He adds: "Look … when a vacancy occurs on the Supreme Court, nobody in his right mind thinks Joe Biden is going to be making the pick. It's going to be Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, and that cast of characters."

Jeffress contends that Democrats nominated Barack Obama's former vice president because they knew Americans wouldn't go for the self-proclaimed "democratic socialist" Bernie Sanders at the top of the presidential ticket; and probably not even Senator Kamala Harris, who has been described as "mean-spirited."

The Southern Baptist pastor concedes that Biden is probably the kind of man some Americans might vote for if they don't like the direct and sometimes impolitic Donald Trump. "[But] I think they are so desperate to get Donald Trump out of office that they will do whatever needs to be done," he says. "They will say whatever needs to be done to accomplish that."

Conservative activist and former GOP presidential candidate Gary Bauer said essentially the same thing to OneNewsNow earlier this week. "The left will stop at nothing" to derail a second term for President Trump, Bauer stated.

The challenge for conservatives

The director of governmental affairs at American Family Association says while the slipups may have been inadvertent, they were no accident. Sandy Rios explains that a Harris-Biden administration has been thoroughly considered by the Democrat higher-ups.

"They game everything," she said Wednesday on American Family Radio. "They think ahead and they plan and they plan and they plan and they plan – that's what communist leftists do. They're master planners – and they're community organizers."

Sandy RiosAccording to Rios, it's just one of several scenarios the left is planning for post-election – none of which are exactly peaceful.

"They're planning on laying siege to the White House," she contended. "We saw what they did in front of the White House [about] two months ago? We saw the insurrection. We saw what they did after the RNC Convention as people were leaving, how they attacked people."

The left is motivated and organized, Rios argues – and she wonders if conservatives will have an answer.

"That's the challenge for us," she concluded. "Are we going to let this small group of anarchists control us, or are we going to fight back? And that means wherever you are, wherever you're living – are you going to do something?"
