A win for Dems would deepen deep state's directives

GOP and Dems duking it outAn immigration enforcement advocacy organization says the $3 trillion stimulus package passed by the House of Representatives contains "a whole bag of goodies" for illegal aliens.

On Friday, House Democrats passed the HEROES Act, or H.R. 6800, a colossal stimulus package that checks off just about every box on the radical left's wish list. The bill would, among other things, bestow billions of dollars in benefits to the country's 14.3 million illegal aliens.

Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), says in addition to direct payments to illegal aliens, the HEROES Act is filled with open borders immigration policies that do nothing to assist the more than 33 million unemployed Americans who have been displaced by COVID-19.

"The bill is actually something that Nancy Pelosi whipped up because she was getting pressure from the open borders advocates in her party," says Mehlman. "For the most part, illegal aliens were not entitled to benefits under the CARES Act and some of the other provisions that have been passed in regard to the COVID-19 crisis, so this was sort of her way of making amends, and in it includes a whole bag of goodies for illegal aliens."

But Mehlman does not think the American public is particularly anxious to be granting money to people who are in the country illegally.

"In fact, 80 percent of the people who were polled in a number of polls said that they think immigration to the United States ought to be temporarily halted throughout the course of this crisis," the FAIR spokesman notes.

While it remains to be seen whether the Republican-controlled Senate will even take up the House bill, a conservative activist says the results of the upcoming presidential election will determine what kind of country America will be for decades to come.

As OneNewsNow has reported, Bill Clinton-appointed Federal District Judge Emmitt Sullivan has refused to comply with the Justice Department's recommendation to dismiss its criminal case against former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, saying he would instead let outside individuals and groups weigh in with their opinions.

Also, in response to the pandemic, various Democrat governors have continued to subject their citizens to draconian lockdowns in hopes that Trump will be blamed for their misery.

Gary Bauer of American Values believes the deep state — the progressives and the Democrats — are trying to delay and run out the clock until November, when they hope to defeat President Trump.

Bauer, Gary (American Values)"If they can win, they're going to work 24 hours a day to reverse everything the president has done," Bauer asserts. "Unlike what President Trump's been dealing with, when the left gets backs in, that massive federal bureaucracy will be working in lockstep with those progressives and socialists to reverse everything that the conservatives were able to do over these last four years."

And he says this year's election will have a long-term impact.

"It will determine probably for the rest of our lives what kind of a country we end up living in and that our children and grandchildren grow up in," Bauer warns.
