The head of a pro-Israel ministry is blasting a call by Democrats in the House and Senate to lift economic sanctions on Iran as it reels from effects of the coronavirus.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders along with Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and nearly three dozen other far left-wing Democrats are pushing for the Trump administration to ease sanctions against the radical Islamic regime in Tehran in light of the heavy toll the COVID-19 virus has taken on the country.
"They want to relieve Iran, and Iran is threatening to go to war with us," says Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations. "President Trump just made a statement warning Iran, If you hit us, it will not be good. I feel horrible for the Iranian people, and I would love it if they would be able to mobilize and overthrow their government and put the real leadership in place. No, we're not giving them any relief. We may be going to war with them."
Cardoza-Moore recalls the Obama administration's disastrous decision to pay off the mullahs.
"$150 billion we gave them -- are you telling me that they spent it already," she wonders.
