When the world celebrates unbelief instead of faith
Question: Why is it big news when a Christian rocker loses his faith? Answer: Bad news about God and faith is often good news for the secular media.
A long-shot candidate for the Democratic nomination, and a thorn in the side of many in her party, is suing Hillary Clinton for defamation.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is suing the former Secretary of State for describing Gabbard as a “Russian asset” in the 2020 election.
The lawsuit, filed in New York City, seeks $50 million from the wealthy, failed presidential candidate.
Clinton made the comment in a 2019 interview in which she suggested the Russians are “grooming” Gabbard to be a third-party candidate, which would help defeat the Democrats by siphoning votes and ensuring President Trump wins re-election.
“She’s a favorite of the Russians,” Clinton said of Gabbard.
Cathie Adams, former chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, says the irony of Clinton’s accusation is that she delivered speeches for pay as Secretary of State, then piled up “all kinds of money” to fund her presidential campaign.
“And so the very woman who is pointing fingers at Tulsi Gabbard,” Adams says, “is a woman who is literally calling the kettle black because she is the one who is certainly guilty.”
Gabbard, who is polling at one percent, slammed Clinton last fall in a tweet that called the famously corrupt Clinton the “embodiment of corruption” and the “personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long…”
The tweet went on to allege that Clinton is behind an effort to “destroy” Gabbard’s reputation through political proxies and her allies in the media.
While being described as a traitor, Gabbard has pointed out that she is an Iraq War veteran who is currently a major in the Hawaii Army National Guard.
“For me as a soldier, as every service member does, I took an oath of loyalty to our country — the country that I love, willing to put my life on the line for our country — deploying twice to the Middle East to do so,” Gabbard told Fox News. “So when you have someone as powerful as Hillary Clinton seeking to smear my reputation and essentially implying that I’m a traitor to the country that I love, what she essentially is doing is taking my life away.”
Adams, meanwhile, tells OneNewsNow that Hillary Clinton remains obsessed with her 2016 loss to Donald Trump and insists is not admired by Democratic voters.
