Democrats pushed through the articles of impeachment with virtually no Republican support, but the president is expected to be exonerated by the Senate. Meanwhile, polls show the majority of the American people oppose the Democrats' efforts.

Trump has so far beaten back every attack thrown at him, and the Democrats could pay dearly at the polls in November 2020.

Sandy Rios, director of governmental affairs at the American Family Association, says Trump prevailing against the forces against him defies any kind of human explanation.

"At this point, any other person would have long been destroyed," she asserts. "I think there is a supernatural thing going on here. In think God is on the side of truth and justice, and I think right now Donald Trump is on the side of truth and justice. I think God likes men like that, and so I would like to think that God is really providing energy and courage to people who are fighting on the side of the American people and the Constitution."

Sandy RiosRios has watched the left do "horrible things" since the 1960s.

"I've seen them lie to the people much more successfully than they're managing to do right now, so I feel like they have not changed," she tells OneNewsNow. "But for some reason it's not working in the same way."

She encourages believers to hope and pray that the "dark and evil" craftiness of the left will be "hung on its own noose."
