A pro-family activist who works to expose the truth about homosexuality does not think America is ready to elect an openly homosexual president.
Pete Buttigieg recently topped a Democratic presidential poll in Iowa, and political pundits are beginning to pay more attention to the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend, Indiana. Buttigieg's showing in Iowa is significant because it is where the first votes of the 2020 presidential campaign will be cast.
The open homosexual has been unabashed in appearing on the campaign trail with his so-called husband, which leaves one to wonder if America is ready for a homosexual president.
"The media will pretend that a man like Peter Buttigieg kissing his so-called husband is just like a man kissing his wife," says Peter LaBarbera, founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH). "But the average Joe on the street, the average American, will not believe that. And I do not believe that an openly homosexual, far-left progressive candidate like Pete Buttigieg -- I do not think the American public is ready for that."
LaBarbera adds that Buttigieg claims his homosexuality makes him a good Christian.
"That is the ultimate blasphemy," the AFTAH president insists. "He's lecturing people about his homosexuality and how it makes him a good Christian, which is making a farce out of Christianity."
Even if Buttigieg manages to win the Democratic nomination, LaBarbera believes President Trump would trounce him in the general election.
