Rep. Ilhan Omar sitting in CongressAn author and terrorism expert says Ilhan Omar (D) accusing President Trump of what she and her ilk actually do is the "quintessential example" of left-wing hypocrisy.

The Target Center in downtown Minneapolis will be overflowing with Trump supporters tonight as the president intends to win the state in 2020 after barely losing to Hillary Clinton there in 2016.

But the Minnesota congresswoman responded to his visit by tweeting, "Minnesota stands for peace, equity, and justice -- everything you are against. While you spew hate, we will keep fighting for the America we deserve."

"These are words that the left throws around a great deal while standing for just the opposite, and Ilhan Omar is a quintessential example of their hypocrisy," says Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch. "Here is somebody who has no problem appearing before the Hamas-linked Council on American Islamic Relations."

Spencer, Robert (Jihad Watch)And Spencer says Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey's (D) attempt to derail the appearance by trying to impose more than a half a million dollars in security charges on the Trump campaign is flagrantly political.

"It's really because of people such as Ilhan Omar that the president needs to have any security there at all," the Jihad Watch director submits. "It's the left that has been trafficking in violence against those who hate to a much greater degree than supporters of Trump, despite the media mythology. So it's once again more hypocrisy here."

As for the election, Spencer believes Trump could carry Minnesota next year
