"Moms Demand Action" at Indiana statehouseA pro-family activist in Indiana is raising alarm over the well-organized, well-funded push for more firearm restrictions in his state.

“Hoosiers need to be aware that simply because we're a conservative Midwest state, and a farming state that has a tradition of hunting and firearms, that we are not exempt from California-style, left-wing gun policies here,” warns Micah Clark, executive director of the American Family Association of Indiana.

A regular visitor to the state capitol, Clark tells OneNewsNow he has witnessed a growing number of anti-gun activists who are members of “Moms Demand Action,” which is funded by gun-hating billionaire Michael Bloomberg.

A total of 15 states have been targeted by Bloomberg and his allies with approximately $50 million budgeted to lobby lawmakers, Clark advises.

But the anti-gun activists aren’t roaming the capitol without opposition: the national NRA convention is coming to Indianapolis this year, and that is creating a friendly environment for the 2nd Amendment.

“But without that convention,” Clark says, “I think people need to be aware that there are more efforts to promote gun control in Indiana than there have been in recent years.”

And that effort, he says, can be traced to left-wing activists in New York and California.
