The head of a pro-Israel ministry says a first-term congresswoman from New York is a "narcissist" whose oversized influence in Congress has gone to her head.
Last week, the House attempted to pass a resolution rebuking Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) for her anti-Semitic comments. But the final version was watered down and didn't even mention Omar – one of two Muslim women in the House – by name after avowed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) and other far-left members said it wasn't fair to single her out.
Despite being a freshman, Ocasio-Cortez has become force to be reckoned with in the Democratic Party. In fact, she warned moderate Democrats that they were putting themselves "on a list" for voting with Republicans on a legislative amendment. She even threatened to get progressive candidates to challenge them in the 2020 Democratic primaries.
Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, contends all Americans should be frightened by the New York lawmaker's comment.
"As soon as I heard her make that statement, do you know what I thought of? Hitler's hit-list," she tells OneNewsNow. "He had a list of people who he took out as soon as he took over the Reichstag.
"And then he had a Jewish list, his list of Jews," she continues, "and he maintained a list as he brought them in. No, Ocasio-Cortez: you're not going to threaten Americans with 'a list.'"
According to the PJTN leader, Americans don't want Ocasio-Cortez' socialism either. "If this is [her] attitude and she thinks that's what America is about – that we're a socialist country? – she is completely ignorant and wrong," says Cardoza-Moore. "She is obviously a narcissist. This has gone to her head."
