A black conservative insists that the legal system should not tolerate the behavior of rapper Snoop Dogg and other liberal entertainers who threaten – whether jokingly or not -- the President of the United States.
President Donald Trump was not amused by the music video in which Snoop Dogg shoots a toy gun at a character resembling Trump, with the gun releasing a flag with the word ‘bang"’ on it.
In fact, the commander-in-chief has suggested that Snoop Dogg should be arrested for pretending to shoot him in the music video.
Trump drew a comparison on social media with his treatment and the treatment former President Obama received as president.
"Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama?” Trump pondered in a tweet. “Jail time!"
Council Nedd II, who serves as a board member of Project 21 and as a constable in Pennsylvania, agrees with Trump's assessment.
"If this had been some popular white singer pointing a gun at some image or likeness of President Obama, there'd be all sorts of implications, consequences, repercussions – and probably somebody would be losing their recording contract," Nedd asserted.
Nedd stressed that this is just the latest example of the far-Left going over the top in expressing their animus for the new president.
“Right now, we’re turning a blind eye to all sorts of stuff because the far-Left has an issue with Donald Trump being the president – so we’re going to excuse all sorts of completely inappropriate, threatening, terroristic behavior because we don’t like the president,” the conservative activist contended. “And I think it’s absolutely wrong.”
Nedd also pointed out that during the “Women's March” in Washington, D.C., earlier this year, the pop music icon Madonna threatened to blow up the White House. He went on to recall that there was a time when those kinds of words earned a visit from the Secret Service.
