hands on prison barsAn evangelist, author, and expert on culture and religion is outraged that the president and his former secretary of state are chastising Republicans for questioning the administration's treatment of persecuted Christians in the Middle East.

Both President Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have scolded Republicans like Texas Senator and GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz for pointing out that Obama has refused to allow beleaguered Syrian Christians to come to the U.S. Meanwhile, they insist that the country throw out the welcome mat for thousands of young Muslim men who, posing as refugees, could very well be terrorists.

Alex McFarland, a Christian apologist who co-hosts American Family Radio's "Exploring the Word" program, observes, "Certainly the interests of Christians have not been recognized or defended."

McFarland, Alex (Christian apologist)"And if this administration is going to be so interested in bringing the huddled masses of the Arab world here," he continues, "what about the rights of Christians? What about bringing Christian refugees here? What about caring for the human rights and religious freedoms of Christians throughout the world?"

He thinks Obama should be held accountable for his policy.

"What this president and this administration has done in empowering and aiding and abetting terrorists -- this amounts to treason," McFarland submits. "It is borderline treasonous!"

The apologist further laments that President Obama has cared for the rights of nearly every group except Christians.
