Obama speaking on Iran dealA conservative black activist says President Barack Obama has a reason for defending the controversial "Black Lives Matter" movement. It's another tool to destroy the country from within.

Empowering anti-police activities such as the "Black Lives Matter" movement has resulted in violence, and even murder, against police officers, says Jesse Lee Peterson of Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny.

Peterson alleges in a WorldNetDaily column that Obama is ultimately responsible for violence in America's streets and for the surge of illegal aliens streaming into the United States from Mexico.

Peterson tells OneNewsNow that Obama wants "total chaos" in the United States. "In order to redistribute power and wealth in order to turn America into a socialist society," he claims.

Such a strategy would mirror the Cloward-Piven strategy, a radical idea introduced by two Columbia sociologists and political activists in the 1960s. The idea is to overload the social-welfare system until it finally breaks down, creating a socialist society to replace it.

Radio host Glenn Beck popularized the theory - and applied it to President Obama - during his brief show on Fox News. Frances Fox Piven later told WorldNetDaily that Beck had misrepresented her views and there was no suggestion to "overload" the economy.

illegal immigrant signU.S. Rep. Steve King pointed to the Cloward-Piven strategy last year, when the Obama administration was allowing thousands of illegal aliens to stream across the U.S.-Mexico border. A second congressman, Steve Stockman, seconded that observation.

Right-wing news website Gateway Pundit noted this week that Obama praised "Black Lives" for addressing a "specific problem" in the black community. He then told a gathering of police chiefs in Chicago that he supported them.

A Youtube video (warning: strong language) from a St. Louis rally, meanwhile, shows "Black Lives" supporters cursing law enforcement, even though they were being escorted by police during their march.

The video was recorded by Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft.

In his WND commentary describing the country's problems, Peterson writes that Americans "need to embrace order – the opposite of chaos."
