Uyghur prisonersAn expert on China is speaking out against the country's genocide of minority groups.

The subject of China's torment is the Uyghur Muslims in the western part of the country, where people are imprisoned because of their faith and where babies are forcibly aborted and women are forcibly sterilized.

While the region's two-child limit remains concerning, Reggie Littlejohn of Women's Rights Without Frontiers tells OneNewsNow doctors who left after practicing in the region have revealed an even bigger story to Radio Free Asia.

"If a woman in Xinjiang has a third child, or if she doesn't complete the waiting period between the first and second child, because she's supposed to wait three years, her child would be forcibly aborted," Littlejohn details. "Or if it's born, it would be killed and the body disposed of."

Littlejohn says the reason this particular group of citizens is treated so harshly is obvious.

Littlejohn

"The Chinese Communist Party has absolutely no respect whatsoever for human life, and this, in my opinion, is a form of genocide," she submits. "Genocide is defined as the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially of a particular ethnic group, and these people are ethnic Muslim Uyghurs."

Littlejohn adds that the U.S. has done a good job of taking a stand against the intolerable treatment of the Uyghurs and other minorities, including Christians. Americans who agree can do their part by signing a petition against China's forced abortion policies.
