Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness (CMR), says the Trump administration respected America's military men and women by initiating sound policies and by putting morale, mission, readiness, and America first.
But since his first day in office, Donnelly says Joe Biden has done serious harm to the U.S. military and other institutions of American life.
"This administration takes the view that the military is there to provide careers; it's an equal opportunity for them," the CMR president observes. "That's how they look at it -- not in terms of national security or readiness. The very first day, Biden signed an executive order that says there shall be no discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. That affected all government institutions, including the Department of Defense."

Biden went even further by issuing an executive order mandating that the military must admit into the service individuals with gender dysphoria.
"Gender dysphoria is a physiological condition that does affect readiness to deploy. It's a serious condition. It requires competent medical care and compassion,” Donnelly asserts.
But ignoring that and allowing all transgenders to join and stay in the military and volunteering the government to take responsibility for their health and the time off when they have to go for treatments -- "that kind of a position puts equal opportunity ahead of military readiness," the military watchdog concludes.
