Since taking office, Biden has made it clear that the idyllic U.S.-Israel relationship between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu is over. For one thing, he has called for re-establishment of U.S. participation with the U.N. Human Rights Council, which has been a battering ram against Israel. The president has also indicated his intention to reinstate the Iran nuclear deal, which President Donald Trump called the worst in history.

During a recent appearance on American Family Radio, Olive Tree Ministries founder and director Jan Markell said this new administration does not bode well for America or Israel.

"We're likely marginalizing our best friend," she lamented. "I think part two of our comment is who is the Biden administration kind of cozying up to? Obviously China and obviously Iran. And I think we'll probably see a return of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), the nuclear Iran deal, which was the biggest catastrophe of Obama administration. So I'm very concerned, in a nutshell."

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)Markell added that the Human Rights Council has been gien over to "a depraved mind."

"This council is made up of thugs and criminals, quite frankly -- President [Nicolás] Maduro [Moros] of Venezuela, who is starving people to death -- literally. This is human rights? We're entering some extremely dangerous times, and I think it's appropriate that the Bible calls the last days perilous."

As America moves forward under the new administration, Markell believes things will get worse and "reveal more and more of the Romans 1 mentality of having been given over to a depraved mindset."
