Trump at Western WallThe leader of a Messianic Jewish ministry says a majority of Israelis are panicking at the possibility Joe Biden becomes the next U.S. president.

Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries says as many as 80 percent of Israel’s population is “pro-Trump” after witnessing Donald Trump vocally support and defend their country during his first term.

“I guarantee you,” Markell told American Family Radio, “they're shaking in their boots over there as to what's going on right now in America.”

Israelis have witnessed the Trump administration move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, pull out of the Iran nuclear deal and take out an Iranian general, and cut off U.S. funding to the Palestinian Authority.

President Trump also recognized the Golan Heights as sovereign Israeli territory and brokered peace accords between Israel and three Muslim countries, moves that also angered the Palestinians.

Biden’s campaign, meanwhile, was in communication with Palestinian Authority figures in the weeks before Election Day, The Jerusalem Post reported.

"Look at how this could affect Israel,” Markell told the radio program. “For instance, the world could go back to the Iran nuclear deal which is a catastrophe for the whole world, which Donald Trump put those skids on, as well the climate issue and lots of things."
