Trump with border wall prototypeAn immigration reform organization says the Biden-Harris immigration plan reveals some big numbers.

The Biden-Harris campaign recently issued a detailed plan on how they would carry out immigration policy if elected in November. As expected, it pushes a lax approach to border enforcement – halting construction of border security fencing, eliminating detention for most illegal border crossers, scaling back worksite enforcement, and limiting deportation to only violent criminals.

Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), tells OneNewsNow their analysis is called "By the Numbers: How the Biden/Harris Immigration Platform Will Fuel a Staggering Increase of Immigrants and Population Growth."

Mehlman

"We could wind up with 50 million new immigrants over the next two decades as a result," Mehlman warns. "He's talking about granting amnesty to everybody who's here, and then he has made it very clear that he is going to roll back a lot of the enforcement measures that were taken under the Trump administration. The construction of the border fence would cease. You're likely to see a significant spike in illegal immigration."

That would drive the costs of services and benefits to illegals up to more than $200 million annually -- a 50-percent jump in the already onerous annual costs to American taxpayers.
