US Border Patrol agents 2An immigration reform organization is outraged that the ACLU is supporting a move to "cancel" tech companies for conducting business with federal law enforcement agencies.

The American Civil Liberties Union recently backed a campaign initiated by a radical open-borders group known as "No Tech for ICE" that seeks to prevent tech companies from conducting business with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection.

"Perhaps the acronym for the American Civil Liberties Union should IACLU instead of ACLU, because it's actually turning into the Illegal Alien Civil Liberties Union," suggests Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) spokesman Dave Ray. "They are doing what they can to get in the way of ICE being able to use various technologies to detain and remove illegal aliens who are here in the country."

Ray says the ACLU is an icon of the left.

"They are using what we would call 'cancel culture' to try to hurt American companies who are offering technological solutions to Immigration and Customs Enforcement to help them try to secure our borders and keep Americans safe from illegal and criminal aliens," he laments. "It's literally outrageous."

The FAIR spokesman adds that the disturbing move is part of a larger trend that has spread nationwide in recent years.
