Hezbollah soldiersA native of Lebanon who is now a Middle East terrorism expert says terrorist group Hezbollah created the conditions that led to the tragic explosions that rocked Beirut last week.

The people of Beirut are still recovering following the massive explosions that rocked Lebanon's capital August 4, flattening much of the port, damaging buildings and blowing out windows and doors as a giant mushroom cloud rose above the city.

Public anger is mounting against the ruling elite, blamed for the chronic mismanagement and corruption that is believed to be behind the explosion in a Beirut port warehouse where hundreds of tons of highly explosive material was stored.

Brigitte Gabriel, who is founder and president of ACT for America, was born in Lebanon and says the country’s people are paying the price.

“It was the fault of the government. It was the fault of Hezbollah who controls the government,” she says. “I believe that explosives and ammunition and missile fuel, which are highly volatile and flammable substances, were stored by Hezbollah in this warehouse, which exploded after being shipped from Iran."

Hezbollah has become the proxy army of Iran, which is using the terrorist group as a “thorn” in Israel’s side, Gabriel advises

Lebanon, she adds, was once a Christian-majority country and once-beautiful Beirut was known as the “Paris of the Middle East.”
