Europe's growing immigrant crisis means the continent could grow even more hostile to Jews, forcing more of them to immigrate to Israel.

Germany and other countries are being swamped with immigrants from the Middle East and Africa, many of them Muslims fleeing war-torn regions.

Reuters reports the wave of migration is the biggest in Europe since World War Two.

Rubin, DavidDavid Rubin, a former mayor of the Israeli city of Shiloh, says he's concerned about the potential consequences of massive Islamic migration to Germany.

"As the result of letting in substantial numbers of Muslim immigrants," he warns, "Germany may again become a Nazi country, because the Muslims for the most part have a view of Jews and Israel which rivals the Nazi philosophy."

Germany expects 800,000 people to seek asylum this year, doubling the amount forecast just months ago.

Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, says the immigration issue will push more Jews to flee Europe for Israel.

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)"And that is actually what God wants," she claims.

France has already seen in a spike in the number of Jews heading to the Holy Land following increased persecution at the hands of the growing and increasingly hostile Islamic population there.

Other recent stories by Reuters note that 25,000 have applied for refugee status in Bulgaria in two years, the same number of applications submitted to that country in the last 20 years.

In the country of Slovakia, its government has stated it prefers Christian refugees to resettle in its territory.

The country of Macedonia declared a state of emergency, and police there fired tear gas and stun grenades to push migrants off its border with Greece in order to maintain an orderly migration.
