A Messianic Jewish leader fears that many attendees of this weekend's pro-Israel gathering will buy into the lies delivered by two high-profile Obama administration officials scheduled to address the conference.

The White House has decided against snubbing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee – America's leading pro-Israel lobby – and will send President Barack Obama's national security adviser and U.N. ambassador to address its annual policy conference. It is seen as an apparent effort to try to ease simmering tensions with Israel over a potential Iran nuclear deal.

AIPAC announced Thursday that Susan Rice and Ambassador Samantha Power will speak to its conference that begins this weekend. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will also be attending AIPAC.

Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, shakes her head at the administration's policy approach in the Middle East.

Markell, Jan (Olive Tree Ministries)"I do believe Barack Obama and probably [senior advisor] Valerie Jarrett are entering into a phase of negotiations never seen since the days of [British Prime Minister Neville] Chamberlain in World War II entering into an arrangement with our archenemy," she laments. "Every Iranian missile has two destinations written on it: Israel and America."

The ministry leader finds it unfortunate that many of the American Jews in attendance at AIPAC will swallow the administration's agenda – hook, line, and sinker.

"American Jews are liberals first and support Israel sort of as a secondary thought. American Jews are just not pro-Israel," she explains. "So I think they're going to receive these two women with great applause, and I think they're going to buy the lies."

Markell believes that America, not Israel, will suffer the consequences if Iran gets its nuclear weapons.
