remote controlAMC is pushing profanity front and center by green-lighting a new show.

Tim Winter of the Parents Television Council says the cable network has given the okay for Kevin Can F--- Himself -- a new show with harsh profanity in its title.

"They included now a new TV show with the F-word in the title of the show," he details. "So when you turn on the program guide to see what's on TV, up pops the F-bomb right there for your kids to see, even if you're looking for something else."

The Parents Television Council is very concerned.

Winter

"We believe that this is a very misguided decision by AMC," Winter relays. "We hope that every major corporate advertiser in the country will stay away from this. What kind of corporation would want to put its brand image next to an F-bomb in the title of the show? We hope the answer is none. No respectable company would do that."

In the meantime, Winter hopes cable and satellite systems will choose to block the profanity from their channel guides.
