Angel Mom slams Dems protecting illegals, Twitter silences

TwitterAfter Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza posted a series of tweets calling out Democrats and pro-immigration activists for protecting illegal aliens over American citizens, Twitter promptly suspended her account, demanding she remove her tweets in order to be reinstated.

Mendoza – the mother of 32-year police officer Brandon Mendoza, who was killed by a drunk illegal alien driving the wrong way on a highway in Mesa, Arizona, in May 2014 – has devoted her life to raising awareness about the harms of sanctuary city policies on American citizens, and now Twitter is silencing that voice … unless she deletes several tweets exposing how thousands of Americans are killed every year by the very illegal aliens Democrats champion as victims in the news.

Promote illegals or shut up

Mendoza notified Breitbart News about a message she received from Twitter claiming that a number of her posts “go against” its “standards of hate speech.”

“In order to sign back into her account, Mendoza said, Twitter has mandated that she delete the posts – something she said she will not do,” Breitbart reported.

The tweets expose how Democrats promote illegals as victims of the system – as they continue to highlight detention center conditions while blasting Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for trying to protect citizens by getting illegals off the streets.

2020 Democratic presidential primary candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) was called out for having no regard for the victims of criminal aliens as she champions sanctuary cities that harbor illegals.

“@KamalaHarris What law can I break and have you defend me so staunchly?” Mendoza posed in one tweet last week. “Provide me sanctuary from our laws? Political cleanup from YOUR INACTION FOR DECADES is what it’s called. You have #bloodonyourhands for every death of an American killed by an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL you are protecting.”

Mendoza also blasted the director of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic at Colombia Law School, Elora Mukherjee.

“@EloraMukherjee Fighting for ILLEGAL ALIENS ONE CASE AT A TIME. The demise of our country from within,” Mendoza’s July 12 tweet reads. “Where were you when American families need representation when their loved ones are killed by ILLEGAL ALIENS?!? Pro Bono for illegals but NADA for Americans.”

She pointed out that as the death toll of Americans killed by illegals continues to amass, Democrats such as self-proclaimed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of “The Squad” try to paint a victim image of migrants illegally breaking over the border by calling detention centers “concentration camps” and using “Never again” rhetoric that was originally used to make sure the horror of the Jewish Holocaust of World War II at the hand of Nazi Germany is not repeated.

“@NeverAgainActn Meanwhile, 4,300+ Americans are KILLED EVERY YEAR by ILLEGAL ALIENS IN the U.S.” Mendoza tweeted early this month. “What do you have to say about that, NEVER AGAIN?!?”

Another tweet takes aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who effectively told illegal aliens how to avoid ICE raid sweeps conducted earlier this month.

“@SpeakerPelosi Americans are torn apart every hour by ILLEGAL ALIENS CRIMINALS.” Mendoza tweeted Wednesday. “EVERY HOUR.”

A fellow Angel mom , Kinyan Michael, was horrified that her friend is being silenced.

“My friend, and also founder of angel moms, @mamendoza480, has been suspended by Twitter from bringing truth that 4,300 American citizens are killed at the hands of illegal aliens every year!” Michael tweeted Thursday. “You know it’s bad when an angel mom is banned for this.”

She provided a screenshot of the “rules against hateful conduct” Mendoza was sent by Twitter, which the company said provided the compass that “determined that this account violated the Twitter Rules.”

“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or serious disease,” the cited rules stated, according to The American Mirror.

Michael mentioned another tweet Mendoza directed at Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-Mass.) as being among those in contention.

“The post from Mendoza referenced by Twitter blamed Rep. Joe Kennedy for promoting policies that enable illegal immigrants to literally get away with murder,” The American Mirror noted.

Mendoza wanted the liberal congressman to step into her shoes before he experiences the same heartbreak she has endured due to America’s lax immigration policies.

“Heaven forbid one of those unvettted, fighting aged men gets released and harms or kills someone you love,” Mendoza tweeted July 13. “I know firsthand what ONE ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL can do to devastate a family FOREVER. Look my son in his eyes and tell him YOU’RE SORRY for contributing to his death.”

Outrage at silencing one side of the debate

Mendoza expressed her outrage that Twitter essentially put a gag order on her from exposing the reality and consequences of illegal immigration – keeping her from calling out the insanity of defending something that results in countless unending tragedies for American families.

“I’m disgusted and disappointed that Twitter is trying to silence me,” Mendoza told Breitbart. “I had my world ripped out from under me the day my son was killed by a repeat illegal alien criminal. I am the ‘other’ side of this crisis and the end result of open borders and the careless release of illegal aliens at our borders because of time restraints.”

She assured that even though Twitter suspended her account, it will not succeed in stamping out her voice.

“I will not be silenced in my warning calls of what could happen to any American citizen in the blink of an eye as it did to me,” Mendoza insisted. “As an American citizen whose beautiful son was collateral damage to the ineptness if our elected officials, I will continue to bring my words to them in whatever platform I can. They owe it to me and every other Angel Family to have a hearing for our voices. Their fellow American citizens and our loved ones killed by their inactions. My voice is my son’s voice – never to be silenced by anyone.”

Breitbart noted that a Twitter spokesman would only corroborate that the social media platform was requiring Mendoza to delete her posts, but the social media platform would not explain why her account was suspended.

Years later, same thing

Last year, Mendoza shared her story about her son’s death at the hands of a previously deported illegal who slipped through the gaping cracks in the system.

“He had been charged up in Colorado in the ’90s for burglary and assaulting a police officer, and of course, usual fashion, they’re given a court date to show up for, which he never did,” Mendoza explained to WBUR last year. “And so he was on the run in our country. He was re-apprehended in 2002 at the border coming back into the country, and the judge showed him leniency and let him back out onto our streets.”

She stressed at the time that she just wants to see illegals brought to justice like regular criminals in the U.S. – without being given special privileges because of political correctness and the cries of pro-immigration sympathizers and activists.

“These illegal alien felons have already been convicted of crimes and have been put on a deportation list, but they’re just left to roam our country.” Mendoza continued. “They want due process in our country, but they’re not forced to serve time like you or I would be. They’re just deported. And next week, they’ll walk back over the border, and they’ll be back, because they know this is a joke.”
