For being candid about identifying Rep. Ilhad Omar’s (D-Minn.) Islamic headdress as a symbol of her faithfulness to Shariah law above American law, Judge Jeanine Pirro’s Fox News show was cancelled – temporarily – but one expert asserts that her assessment of the Muslim lawmaker was spot on.
“Pirro was correct in her opening statement that Omar submits to Shariah,” WND education and public policy expert Carole Hornsby Haynes asserted.
Exposing the truth?
Pirro’s speculation instantaneously ignited much backlash and a media firestorm last month – from both the politically correct left and the conservative media – including her employer, Fox News … even though her insinuation is deemed correct.
“During the opening segment of her March 9 Fox News show, Judge Jeanine Pirro posed the question about whether the hijab – Muslim headscarf – signifies that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), is loyal to Shariah (Islamic law) rather than the U.S. Constitution for which she took an oath to protect and defend,” Haynes recounted.
The conservative judge opened up Fox News Channel’s Justice with Judge Jeanine a couple weeks ago by posing a thought-inducing question to her audience.
“Omar wears the hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested ,” Pirro told her audience. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Shariah law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?”
Almost instantaneously, Fox News condemned Pirro’s remarks – after indicating that it had addressed the matter with Pirro directly.
"We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar," the Fox News Channel declared in a statement at the time, according to The Hill. "They do not reflect those of the network, and we have addressed the matter with her directly."
Even fellow staffer at Fox, Hufsa Kamal – of Arab descent – was quick to question and condemn Pirro before Fox took action by suspending her show.
“@JudgeJeanine, can you stop spreading this false narrative that somehow Muslims hate America or women who wear a hijab aren’t American enough?” Kamal tweeted in response to Pirro’s opening. “You have Muslims working at the same network you do, including myself.”
As is the general case when concerns about the militant nature of Islam are brought to attention, Pirro was essentially accused of religious profiling.
“Kamal’s tweet refocused the real intent of Pirro’s question to a narrative that Muslims are being labeled un-American because they outwardly show evidence of their faith,” Haynes explained. “Just as Omar shifted the focus of the U.S. House resolution – originally intended to rebuke her anti-Semitic remarks – to ‘Islamophobia,’ so did Kamal’s tweet divert attention from the truth about hijabs.”
Haynes stressed how deception is encouraged in Islam when it benefits the religion.
“Lying or dissimulation – taqiyah – is not only condoned, but recommended to Muslims in the Quran,” Haynes pointed out. “A Muslim can and will lie without compunction if it is necessary to protect or further Islam.”
Standing firmly in the truth
Addressing the backlash, Pirro was not her original blunt self, but she remained unapologetic about her insinuation.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments about my opening statement from Saturday night’s show, and I did not call Rep. Omar un-American,” Pirro expressed in her statement over the issue Fox News Channel and her audience. “My intention was to ask a question and start a debate, but of course, because one is Muslim does not mean you don’t support the Constitution.”
Nevertheless, Pirro’s deduction in her opening statement regarding Omar’s unwavering submission to Shariah law – due to her wearing of the hijab – was assessed as accurate.
“Adherence to Islamic law can be visibly seen both in a Muslim’s dress and prayers (how they pray), as well as their comments and actions in life,” Haynes informed. “Pirro was only stating a truth – that Muslim women are required to wear hijabs because Shariah requires it. Pirro also correctly indicated that Omar’s adherence to Shariah means that she cannot uphold the Constitution. Shariah is deemed divine law and does not permit Muslims to live under any other legal system – including the U.S. Constitution – which Muslims deem man-made law.”
Islamic organizations that claim to be peaceful – including those to which Omar declares allegiance – have been found to have ties with Islamic terrorism.
“The Muslim Brotherhood has made it clear that its mission is to overthrow the U.S. Constitution and impose Shariah,” Haynes noted. “The pattern of Islam is to use the courts, schools, art museums, political offices and other major institutions – including outreach to churches – to infiltrate, gradually introduce Shariah and then finally take over a nation. Progress toward attaining that goal will only increase as the numbers of Muslims in America increases.”
Research shows that Islam continues to gain traction and become more widely practiced in the U.S.
“By 2040, Muslims will replace Jews as the nation’s second-largest religious group after Christians,” the Pew Research Center divulged. “And by 2050, the U.S. Muslim population is projected to reach 8.1 million, or 2.1 percent of the nation’s total population – nearly twice the share of today.”
It has further been argued that Muslims in leadership roles in non-Islamic nations are ultimately positioning themselves for an Islamic takeover.
“In an article adapted from his book, Slavery, Terrorism, and Islam, white African missionary Dr. Peter Hammond writes that Islamization – takeover of a country – occurs when critical mass is reached so that Muslims can agitate for their ‘religious rights,’” Haynes shared. “Hammond notes that especially vulnerable are open, free, democratic societies. He outlines the stages of takeover according to the Muslim percentage of the population.”
She then presented some sobering statistics about Islam’s infiltration in non-Muslim nations.
“From 2–3 percent, Muslims begin proselytizing street gangs, jails and certain ethnic priorities,” Haynes revealed. “At 5 percent, they force the government to allow them to live under Islamic law – Shariah. At 10 percent, lawlessness is increased with militia formations, murders and the burning of churches and synagogues. There will be widespread massacres and open militia warfare at 40 percent. When the Muslim population reaches 60 percent, there will be persecutions of non-believers and other believers along with occasional genocide. At 80 percent, there is ethnic cleansing and genocide.”
Two faith groups are considered the ultimate enemies of the Islamic faith.
“The main target is Christians and Jews,” Haynes emphasized. “Compliance to Shariah is mandatory – even praying at the correct times – and those who choose to ignore the law face stoning, beating, mutilation of body parts and even beheading. Leaving Islam is punishable by death. The future of personal freedoms for Americans – and especially that of Jews and Christians – is dark indeed.”
Despite the virulent backlash headed by Muslims, Democrats and others on the politically correct left, it appears that after two weeks of being off air, Pirro’s program on Fox is no longer in jeopardy.
“Suspended Fox News commentator Jeanine Pirro will reportedly return Saturday, following her controversial comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
Having support in high places apparently helped preserve Pirro’s job at Fox.
“U.S. President Donald Trump personally called for Fox News to reinstate Pirro during a May 27 interview with long-time Fox News host Sean Hannity, to which Hannity replied, ‘she's back Saturday,’" the Post announced.
Trump also took to social media to express his support for Pirro – who has consistently backed the president amidst predominantly anti-Trump news coverage.
"Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro,” Trump tweeted. “The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country,"
