CNN logoIn the wake of President Donald Trump’s highly contended White House bid, one former host of arguably television’s most Leftist news source, CNN, contends that some journalists with the station were “determined” to see him lose to then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Former CNN Host Piers Morgan divulged to one of America’s largest conservative news outlets that many working at his old network were anything but professional when covering Trump during the presidential campaign season.

Anti-Trump propaganda coverage?

When speaking with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday night, the former TV personality, who left CNN approximately three years ago, impressed the fact that the Left-leaning station was more than biased in its coverage of Trump during last year’s presidential campaign season. He said the reporting was outright anti-Trump, which essentially amounted to pro-Hillary propaganda.

Morgan maintained in his conversation with Carlson that while many anchors at CNN demonstrated integrity, he was more than confident that a number of employees at the station who were “lower in the food chain” were “determined” to see that Trump lost the 2016 presidential election.

It was also reported that such biased coverage that was intended to diminish Trump’s chances in his bid for the White House was confirmed through WikiLeaks – when it revealed that CNN made an arrangement with the Democratic Party to try and knock out any of Clinton’s rivals through damaging and unfavorable coverage.

“That bias was all but proven in the WikiLeaks email dumps that showed CNN colluding with Democrats to undermine anyone not named Hillary Clinton,” Fox News informed.

Candidly speaking …

After being asked what he thought about the way some journalists at CNN went about their 2016 campaign coverage on Trump, Morgan was very blunt and concise.

"It stank," Morgan candidly expressed.

But the ex-anchor insisted that the blatant media attacks against Trump at the CNN were far from over after the underdog GOP nominee upset his front-running Democratic rival at the ballot box in November.

“[Morgan] is also not a fan of how screaming Leftists are treating the president, who won ‘fair and square’ against a ‘terrible’ candidate like Hillary Clinton,” Fox News’ Cortney O’Brien pointed out.

In fact, the former CNN host went on express his contempt for how Democrats and other Leftists have been poor sports over their loss to Trump through distasteful protests, needless violence, threats of anarchy and false accusations to depose the newly inaugurated president.

"I am appalled at the behavior from so many liberals right now," Morgan lamented.

Even though Morgan is clearly on Trump’s side when it comes to his battle with the Leftist mainstream media, he maintains the that the president’s disconnect and strained relationship with the press calls for both parties to sit down and come up with some win-win solutions so that both can do their jobs and serve the American public to the best of their abilities.

“Morgan, who won a season of Celebrity Apprentice when Trump was still the star of the show, continued to defend his old friend against the media onslaught, wishing they would show him some respect,” O’Brien noted. “Yet, he acknowledged that it's a two-way street and Trump should also show the press some courtesy.”

Looking at the situation from the outside, the former face of CNN contended that the unproductive back-and-forth between the president and the media must come to an end soon so that real objective reporting can return to America.

"You have a wall between the media and the White House [right now],” Morgan pointed out. “They all better move on."
