A television series will help people who support life for the unborn to present their beliefs - and back it up with scripture.
Wretched TV has produced the series, and Todd Friel is the executive producer. He explains the purpose and message of the series.
“Life is Best is a 13-episode, pro-life TV show that has a threefold purpose,” he tells OneNewsNow. “Number one is saving babies. Number two, saving souls. And number three, equipping Christians to prepare themselves to defend the pro-life position.”
Friel says a lot of arguments are tossed around on both sides of the issue, but the core argument is whether the unborn is a human being or if an abortion is something equivalent to a surgical procedure performed by a dermatologist.
“We Christians never stand around a dermatologist's office picketing them because they're removing moles; we know that that's just a part of somebody's body,” he says. “We don't care about those things - but we know that the baby, the unborn person, is a distinct, whole and living human being.”
The series takes Christians on a journey through scripture to help understand why pro-lifers work so hard to preserve life. Life is Best includes video footage of debates between pro-abortion and pro-life people and face-to-face engagement with university students on the life issue. It will air on various television networks as well as individual stations throughout the country.
